Hello, I'm having difficulties to install openwrt on this device, the stock firmware doesn't accept the image bin file. Any chance I can try with Gargoyle? It's a Broadcom BCM5354 with 4/32 MB memory...

If you are willing to compile your own version of Gargoyle to try, sure.
You can’t use any version newer than 1.13.x
