Search for:
1) "wr1043nv1_tp_recovery.bin" ( http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=31148 )
2) Tftpd32 ( http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html )
3) Download archive from http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=29248
4) Use a UTP-cable ("no jtag"-style)
5) Read archive and PUT YOUR LAN CABLE IN THE LAN (yellow) PORT (NOT IN WAN)!!!
6) Change your computer ip in 192.168.0.66 and subnet mask in 255.255.255.0
7) Set Tftpd32 ready for upload
8) Router - power off, power on then quick pressed the 30/30/30-button till the "sevice-led" blinked fast
and Tftpd32 will autoupload your recovery-image then router will self-reboot like new.
Reset your computer IP to auto/dhcp and login in router at 192.168.1.1

Re: TL-WR1043ND V1 bricked SOLVED !!!
Found my old router.
I tryed to upgrade with Gargoyle, bricked again.
Renamed IP adress in 192.168.0.66
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.0.1
Good working again with Tftpd32 and files renamed in "wr1043nv1_tp_recovery.bin" (was the only acceptable way to read requests and upload in Tftpd.
Unplug power-supply. Copy first the bin-file in the Tftpd director (in Windows Program Files tree or WPF for x86). Using only the "Tftp server" - go to "Show Dir", select the bin-file then press "copy", then "close". Insert screwdriver/else in the 30/30/30 hole, hold pressing then reconnect power, is a bit strange to work with both hands, i know.
You will show the upload/flash process, relax, release the screwdriver and let the router reboot by himself. Done.
The only working firmware with TL-WR1043ND v.1 was this https://archive.openwrt.org/attitude_ad ... x/generic/
(Openwrt "attitude_adjustment" 12.09 - only in archives!)
and a copy of "wr1043nv1_tp_recovery.bin: TTFT Recovery" here https://github.com/edgardmessias/dd-wrt-wr1043ndv1
I don't know why can't upload/flash the original firmware from TL-WR1043ND v.1 or Gargoyle again.
Not even if i do this in the working image (described at top). Tryed to rename to a shorther name, not working. Had a stripped version too, was installed but can't login, known users and pass won't work.
