The open-mesh OM1P routers are not starting up fully after flashing with Gargoyle.
Any help will be appreciated.

Re: The OM1P routers from open-mesh not coming up after flashing
What method did you use for installing Gargoyle? Did you use FonFlash, Ap51Flash or direct telnet connection?
If possible could you login to the router via telnet port 9000 and post the output of the "fis list" and "fconfig -l" commands? Thanks!

Re: The OM1P routers from open-mesh not coming up after flashing
I used the fon flash.
When I flash the router I can't get into it. Put in a static ip on my nic and tried to ssh or telnet into it @ 192.168.1.1 and no response. Pings return a hardware error.
Used open-mesh flash and it came back using their flash.

An update. I tried the AP51 flash utility and same result. Lose all access to the router and it's stuck somewhere in boot up stage.

Others have tried to flashing OM1P with OpenWRT without success.

Re: The OM1P routers from open-mesh not coming up after flashing
Hmmm... it looks like this is going to be tricky to figure out without actually getting my hands on one of these devices. The output from the ROBIN link looks like it uses the same addressing scheme as the fonera, so that's not the issue like it was with the DIR 300.
I'll take a look at the differences between ROBIN and OpenWrt and see if I can figure it out. However, given the detailed output provided in that link, I don't see any obvious explanation for what's going on.

There is a link at the bottom of the thread with some code
Can you make any sense of it?

Re: The OM1P routers from open-mesh not coming up after flashing
That program resets the watchdog timer to keep the router from rebooting every 5 minutes... but you said you couldn't access it in the first place. Sure, that code could be run on openwrt/gargoyle, but which is the problem, constant reboots, or inability to start at all after flashing?
Again, I don't have one of these devices, so I really have no way of knowing what's going on.

I don't have one either OM1P
People have been claiming they have successfully flashed the OM1P with openWRT and dd-wrt but there units keep rebooting.
Im not sure why i care when i don't have one, but i guess i might be helping some one?
