I noticed this user had success using Gargoyle with your router.

So I suspect this is a version issue with this hardware.
Since I do not have this router I cannot work on this problem. I doubt that Eric has it either.
If you can work on it and find the issue then I can get your fix into the next build.

Re: installed Gargoyle and cant access the router
This router has a really weird switch configuration which. I think there is another thread in the troubleshooting forum which discusses this. The switch is really unique, different from all the other similar routers, so supporting it is going to require special handling. OpenWRT does support the router, but configuring the network on it requires very different settings than on other routers, so you're seeing flaky results.

Re: installed Gargoyle and cant access the router
well the new build is not tweaked for the weird switch configuration of TP-link. I have already reverted back to default firmware couple of times to install gargoyle in 1.3.9 though. But the problem will persist as said by ericDoesItMatter wrote: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85237
hellbound - follow that link - login to dd-wrt to see the firmwares
revert back to factory firmware on your tplink
reset to defaults
flash to gargoyle 1.3.10, then see if you can login
only thing I can think to try out

i can see the user is replying with all the answers but at last no reply from admins about the problem. well if dd-wrt can run on my switch then gargoyle should also. dd-wrt's/openwrt source code is open i guess you can use that for switching problem.

so that means there was no workaround for this switching problem in new version 1.3.10 ?Eric wrote:This router has a really weird switch configuration which. Re: installed Gargoyle and cant access the router
I Have the same problem with my TP-Link TL-WR841ND v3.
I reported this problem here http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... f=6&t=1193 because I didn't find in this forum any problems like this, related to my model, but it seems that it has similar harware with the one you are talking about:

Helder
