Restrictions won't block Google or Bing

I want my kids to only be able to use Norton Safe Search so I went in to Restrictions and blacklisted Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, and AOL. I'm specifying the exact URL www.google.com.
So all of them get blocked except Google and Bing. Double checked spelling but they still get through.

Are you using the latest beta version of 1.10.x? Otherwise that feature didn’t work properly due to ssl encryption.
