Softether VPN Setup on Gargoyle

I am trying to use Softether because some of my devices will not connect with the openVPN setup created using the Gargoyle software. The VPN setup I need will use this L2TP/IPsec, using IKEv2.

Has anyone ever done this using Gargoyle software?
Does anyone have have any good tutorials on how to set this up?

I think I can setup on a Raspberry Pi but I don't want to use another device if I can use my router for this.
