Tplink Archer v1.1 Installation Issues

Post by foxyboy »

Have just acquired the above and went to install 1.9.X, installation went fine and then tried to configure when all hell broke loose.

I want to configure connected to a laptop and then swap out later as i already have a 181 tl-wr1043nd working fine. However I dont seem to be able to configure the simple setup of DHCP Wired with 2.4 & 5Ghz APs, gui simply wont play ball. I am using a WISP with an externally mounted antenna so why i am getting lots of Modem settings when i select DHCP Wired is beyond me.

The web gui seems to be very erratic and if i deselect DHCP Wired i cannot then get back any wifi settings no matter what.
Anyone seen this previously ?

I tried Chrome in developer mode and there are plenty of errors thrown,
Have i made a huge mistake, is V1.1 not dual band supported ?
It shows both bands but gui is erattic

If it is a C7 1.1 then I'd recommend returning it and getting something else. 5GHz wifi is unsupported.
This is probably why the interface has gone crazy.

There is another error occurring there which needs fixing, but I'd still get rid of it.
