Android notifications always arrive late (if at all)

Hey, I have a TP-Link TL-WR741N/ND v4 with Gargoyle 1.9.1, configured as a gateway for another wireless router, and notifications on my Android mobile always arrive minutes late, if they arrive at all.

That does not happen with 3G, or when my mobile is connected directly to the router that Gargoyle is connecting to.

Can you guys help me troubleshoot this? Thanks.

Alright, I found out the reason: I had changed the TCP Timeout setting some time ago, making it much shorter. I have changed it to 3600 seconds (the max) and now it looks like it works again.

Hi mate haveing the TCP timeout at 3600 can make your router fill up all your ram and crash.
This happens a lot wen downloading torrents or wen using steam.

I set my time outs both UDP and TCP to 1000 and it seems to run fine. I have a lot of wifi clients so my ram gets filled pretty quick.
