Using a router with wifi disabled
I'm about the set up a Gargoyle router for quota management on a satellite BB installation. The house is quite large and I intend to separate the wireless access functionality from the router, and use 2 dedicated WAPs at different ends of the house for full coverage, both connected back to the router. The router itself will connect wired to the satellite modem. I've not yet bought the modem hardware; I just want to check that I can use Gargoyle on the router with its wifi disabled and still have all the dhcp, port forwarding and quota management etc functionality all working as if the network was only cat5 wired. Many thanks

PM me if you need to buy Gargoyle router in Australia/NZ, willing to pay me to help you on your Gargoyle configurations or build custom configured ROM with pre-installed app or try to fix your bricked router. Yes, I am looking for job/work.
