pocket 2 upgrade?

I just got the pocket 2 router from the Gargoyle shop and it's running great. I've already been able to deal with a couple bandwidth hogs! I noticed that it ships with 1.6.2. and the current stable release is 1.8.0. Just wondering if the Pocket 2 router supports upgrading to 1.8.0 or if there might be some hardware restrictions to prevent it. It's working for me fine, so if not, this is still great, but just wondering.

If you were having wifi issues you could try upgrade.

I suspect the specs for that router aren't that great and the newer firmware is more resource Hungary
