I installed Gargoyle on my WRT54GL router several months ago, and one day it suddenly crashed and got stuck in a series of constant reboots. Web interface was only accessible for a couple of seconds, before the device went for the next reboot. In the end, I had to recover it by TFTPing the original linksys firmware.
Not sure if this report helps anyone, because this was the older version 1.16, but just wanted to give a heads up. Unfortunately, I can't give much more information. Of course I would also be interested to hear if anyone else ever experienced a similar problem.
