Change wan interface

Greetings,

Is it possible to change my WAN interface?

My wan interface on my router isn't working (but the rest of the router is working fine), so I wonder how can I change it for another port like lan 1 for example.

In the past, I had installed x-wrt on this router, and changing the wan interface was pretty simple using the webif.

I guess that I could achieve this with gargoyle just messing with openwrt.
Can someone help me with this or at least point the directions?

My router: Linksys WRT54GL + Gargoyle 1.2.4

update:
Just noticed that I could do this using nvram and editing the filte /etc/config/network

My WAN is now in an alternative port.
