D-Link DIR 600M

Post by gargsms »

I was wondering if Gargoyle supported this router:
http://www.amazon.in/D-Link-Dir-600M-Br ... rds=router

It supports the precursors of this, the DIR 300. Since this router is newly launched, around the first quarter of this year, I couldn't find any posts on this forum. I searched online too but never found any datasheets that specify the chipset and memory (or maybe my search skills are too poor).

Can someone confirm if Gargoyle will work on this?

Thanks

It looks like it isn't supported by openwrt. And therefore not by gargoyle sorry.

How did you verify that?

You're either referring to this model:
https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=28937
In which they discovered the flash memory was insufficient.

OR

Another model which isn't listed anywhere on the openwrt site. Many google searches turned it up as a "regional" model (sold only in certain countries) which might point to why it is hard to find information on it.

If you can provide more information I can try to assist further.

I get it. I am not planning on buying this. I have it already.

I came to know about Gargoyle after I needed it. I will probably look into buying another router now.
