why? Netflix doesn't require minimum ping.

Magnets I think you have either ignored or misread the OPs requirements.


Netflix, in HD uses approximately 4000kbps. I'm thinking this setup will suit his needs just fine.

You can allocate a reserved speed for a user by putting a maximum speed on the other users. Sometimes you need to think outside the box to achieve these things.

I also think your understanding of the QOS system is slightly off.

Well if your total available is 5700kbps and you say your Netflix must have 6000kbps then something does not make sense wouldn't you say?

I do not think minimum bandwidth is not something you would use for streaming video like Netflix. Use the percent bandwidth and leave the minimum bandwidth set to zero. Give it 99% if you want
