TL-WR1043ND v2.1 connecting only at 65mbps (WiFi)

Post by XTerkRS »

Hi people, so as you can see, I'm new in this forum.

Today I was getting rid of the original firmware of my WR1043ND V2.1 installing the stable release (1.6.2).

Everything is working fine except the speed at which my WiFi card connects, my card is a TL-WN781ND which connects up to 150mbps. I've already searched on the forums too many posts, no matter how I configure the channel width, the wireless channel I select (I've checked the best available using inssider), or whatever, it will connect only at 65mbps.

I read something about setting noscan to the wireless config but I don't really think that's the way this should be solved. I also tried the latest experimental build to no avail.

Also reverted to the stock firmware and the link was up to 150mpbs again, so it's not the HW.

Can you suggest any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi could it be a power saving feature? Try and checking your link speed wen downloading a file.

logon to your router with ssh and put this commands:

uci set wireless.radio0.noscan=1
uci commit
reboot

for me it solves this issue.
