I'am using 3 TP-Link WA901ND (2 x v2, 1 x v3 -> since now) as pure clients. Gargoyle`s 1.6.2 works perfect, many thanks, but 1.6.2 is not available for the v3 and 1.7.x is too big for this routers (http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... f=5&t=6806).
Is it possible to delete some unnecessary plugins (telephony, ddns, ...)? If so, how?
I can also try too compile my own image, but I do not know which packages (and patches?!) are needed for the client mode. According to openwrt it is not possible for Atheros chips -> http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/recipes/bridgedclient
