Webcam and sound with Gargoyle

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and to Gargoyle and I'm only posting my question after searching for everything webcam-related here.

I recently installed Gargoyle on my TP-Link 1043 ND version 2.1 because I wanted to hook a webcam to the USB port and use it as a baby monitor.

Video works fine but I wonder is there a way to receive sound too?

The camera model is Logitech C270.

In addition to my previous question, could anyone recommend a program I can use to view and record the video stream?

Also it would be useful if there was an option to adjust the settings of the video received by the webcam.

Currently I use VLC player to play the stream and adjust the picture settings like brightness/contrast, etc.
