Support for WR841ND v9
know that this router is supported and running on OpenWRT trunk r40400. The question is, is it posible for Gargoyle to support this router?
Re: Support for WR841ND v9

But this will be supported in the next experimental version of Gargoyle?
Re: Support for WR841ND v9
We wait for openwrt to release their next stable version.
Sometimes there is a backport from trunk to current stable but not usually

Re: Support for WR841ND v9
I installed openwrt with luci on my WR841ND v9 and only have 112kb of space remaining.
Does this mean gargoyle and openwrt can't coexist because of space restrictions?

No but with only 4MB of flash your router is on the edge. Even if Gargoyle does support it in the future many features will not be there for lack of space.
Get on EBay and get yourself a router with at least 8MB of flash and 32MB of RAM and is already supported by Gargoyle. Then sell the WR841 to offset the cost. You will thank me later.

I see only 841N v9 on download section, is it safe to flash 841n v9 firmware on a 841ND v9 router?

It's perfectly fine. D stands for detachable antennas. All the rest is the same as WR841N.gumball3000 wrote:I see only 841N v9 on download section, is it safe to flash 841n v9 firmware on a 841ND v9 router?
