[solved] Can't install Tor plugin

Hello everybody,

I flashed 1.6.2 and 1.7.0 onto my new TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2, and flashing worked perfectly. When I wanted to install the Tor plugin it did not work. It says "Plaese wait while settings are applied", then after a short time, the plugin menu is back and Tor in NOT installed.

The thing that makes me headache is that it worked some days ago! (Then I set up a wrong routing and could not access the router anmyore, so I had to flash it again.)

It there a way to install the plugin manually?

1.6.2 should work?

1.7.0 does not, based on reports

1.6.2 worked. 1.7 did not work. Then another try with 1.6.2 did not work anymore.

There is a way to get it to work on 1.7.0 by manually installing the components its looking for but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are comfortable installing packages manually.

Did you try failsafe reset?

Yes, I did. But I read and felt no difference compared to a factory reset in Gargoyle nor to an installation of a different Gargoyle version.

Problem solved:

I changed the firmware back to the original. Then I started from the scratch with 1.6.2 and installed Tor support.
