Setting Mess / Partial wipe

1/ Am I wrong or will this factory reset wipe gargoyle completely and make me reinstall it from scratch?

2/ If number 1 if right will reinstalling from the gargoyle full flash image change anything to what I have done when installing the first time?

I do not mind wiping/flashing and re-installing for better stability, but i'd like to understand why and how before I do so.

For whatever reason the config file can be come corrupt (OpenVPN being a good example, done it may times)

It wipes everything (factory reset)
