ASUS WL500 INSTALL

I am trying to install the gargoyle_1.1.5-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx file onto my Asus wl500 router that has dd-wrt already installed. When I try to upgrade the firmware and select the file from the desktop, it says "Incorrect image file"

Should I choose another file or try to reset it back to Asus firmware and then reflash the firmware to Gargoyle?

I managed to figure it out, went through the Aus firmware restore program which allowed the Gargoyle firmware to be installed.

Love the Gargoyle.....
