Upgrade WR1043ND V2.1 not working

i am not able to upgrade from tp-link software to
gargoyle.

I tried gargoyle_1.6.1-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v2-squashfs-factory.bin
but it does not recognize the file.

Already updated to latest TP-Link, so i updated to
openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v2-squashfs-factory.bin.

Should i try now to update to Gargoyle or is it not supported at all with V2.1?

Finally i just tried flashing after openwrt installation and worked fine
Now only german language switching would be cool

The filename was just too long for tplink fw.

Must be shorter than is recognised fine.
