nocatsplash

Hi all,

I am trying to install nocatsplash on my newly gargoyled WNDR3700v1 router. So far, I haven't been successfull, probably due to my lack of knowledge. Up till one hour ago, I didn't know what Putty was, or vi, or SSH. But I am eager to learn.

After much searching and trying, I managed to do what is mentioned in this post:

So, I think I have installed nocatsplash, made a script, and enabled nocatsplash. After a reboot, I did not see any change in behaviour and I don't know enough to track down where it goes wrong.

Can anybody explain to me how to finish my installation, and how to see if its running, or how to more easily install a captive portal (nodogsplash would also be fine)?

Ok, so I managed to get noDOGsplash working. That was much easier and does exactly what I need.

But now I have a question regarding the CIDR notation. I don't get this stuff. A whole different question, so I'll open a new post.
