I have just received a PC engines APU driven board that will eventually be the ALIX successor. The processor is a T40N. The board has gigabit ethernet which makes it great for use as a Gargoyle router. I tried to run a Gargoyle image, but I get the following error:
This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU:
3dnow
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.
The T40N has no 3DNOW!, so no big surprise here.
Now I have a working gargoyle build environment but have not been able to find where I can switch off 3DNow building. I used make menuconfig in the kernel build folder but cannot find the reference to 3DNOW. I tried all sorts of processor types as well. Any one in the know please help!!!
