Hi,
I own a NETGEAR WGT634U. I flashed gargoyle_1.5.11-wgt634u-squashfs.bin on it and got it to work.
Then I started looking at the QoS things. And since I wanted to limit the bandwidth of *everything* that went through that router, I activated QoS and removed all the classification rules and all the service classes... I also remember setting the default service class to "normal". Anyway, I can't access my router from http/https/ssh/telnet...
Hopping something would still be open, I nmaped it. A "normal" nmap told me it seemed down because it blocked ping probes and asked me to try -Pn. With -Pn, it told me it was up (with 0.12s latency) but that all 1000 scanned ports are filtered.
Then I thought "whatever, I'll hard reset it". But unfortunately, that didn't work... Or maybe I didn't use the right timings but the timing that worked before I flashed Gargoyle didn't work and 30s-reboot-30s didn't work either. Then, looking at forums, I saw someone speaking of spamming the button during boot. So I did that and it make the power led's luminosity cycle: high, low, high and so on. But it didn't look like it changed anything else.
So I'd really like it if someone could tell me how to unbrick it without needing a serial. And if it's not possible then would this cable work? ( http://www.amazon.fr/Arduino-Cables-DEV ... +FTDI+3.3V )
Thank you in advance.
Activated QoS and removed rules. Can't access anything.

Re: Activated QoS and removed rules. Can't access anything.
Glad you got reset to defaults the OpenWRT way. The 30/30/30 method is DD-WRT specific.
To use QoS you need at least one class and the default rule but there really is no reason to delete the default setup. I suppose if you delete all the classes then you will have the problem you describe.
If you have problems getting QoS to do what you want just post in the QoS section of this forum. Unlike DD-WRT you will actually get help here.
