Connecting a router to another router? what would happen if I connected a router to my router that is connected to the isp. If i had it 100ft. away from the 1st router, would it extend my range of wifi with the additional router? I had this idea because my router is on the first floor, but barely has any connection on the 2nd floor, so would this system work, to extend the wifi to the 2nd floor?

Re: router to another router
Yes.
First router: Gateway mode (ip ex. 192.168.1.1)
Second router: Wireless Bridge/Repeater mode (ip ex. 192.168.1.2), client bridge, repeater enabled, same ssid and encryption for two routers.
