new gargoyle router

recently purchased gargoyle router, the instruction says to enter http://192.168.1.1, to access router. i did as instructed and screen showed a lot of different sites but none of them had anything about gargoyle, need help please.

instructions that came with router says to plug cable from computer in to gargoyle and type in 192.168.1.1, into browser any browser i use firefox, chrome, etc cannot make connection to internet. i am
completely confused. what browser am i supposed to use?

Plug the Ethernet cable into your LAN port of your router the the other end into you PC.

Then reboot you PC and it should work
