engenius / senao eoc 2610

Post by data »

Hello!

Is there anybody running the current version (1.5.10) on an eoc 2610?

[In case flashing goes wrong, where can I get the original firmware files to use with fon-flash?]
Edit:
Found the original TFPT-Files at
http://www.engenius-europe.nl/index.php ... kbartid=62

Also, is the any current snapshot of openwrt working?
Which files should I use to flash it?

So far, I tried both - v 1.5.10 of gargoyle from here and the current snapshot of openwrt for atheros from downloads.openwrt.org - both did not work.

Most links on this topic found on google are either years old or nonexsistend.

Thank you and Kind Regards,

yep possible and i,ve done it

The problem is the older builds have unstable wifi drivers and the newer builds require faster and larger CPU RAM etc

I found putting the eoc 2610 in bridge mode and user another router with gargoyle on it more sucessfully

Thank you for your reply.

Would you mind to share how you managed it?
Is your question valid for Gargoyle and/or OpenWRT?

I don't mind using it without a web-interface, so wouldn't it be sufficient RAM/Flash even for a current version of OpenWRT?
