DIR300 - Fon Flash DONT GO THERE!

Wiki says get the Special Version of Fon-Flash for D-Link DIR300. There is no special version shown anywhere on the site. Latest version is Y2009.
Can anyone advise if there is a special version, and if so, where is it please?
Comments about the versions say that the Windows version only is suitable, but both Windows and Linux versions share similar timestamps.

LATER due no replies...........
Went through the whole rigmerole of flashing the WRT> and then went to use Fon-Flash and it comes up with this error:
No RedBoot prompt. Exit in line 636
Under Ubuntu/Linux
Seems nobody is interested in supporting this as its been reported several times before (I found out too late).
Guess I will have to flash it the manual Labour way.

There is a special version but you need to compile it yourself
