Hi!
I have a Meraki mini which used to run Gargoyle 1.5.9. I tried updating the firmware in the Gargoyle gui to 1.5.10. Now it seems unreachable on 192.168.1.1 and zenmap doesn't detect it. Ethernet leds are on/flashing. It's bricked, right? Not much I could do without a serial cable, right?
Cheers
Uggla

You tried failsafe mode, right?

Where you change your computer's IP to 192.168.1.2?

I've tried that but tcpdump gave me nothing.

I've flashed a router with wonky settings before and I've had to use failsafe mode numerous times.
I'm on Mac OS X. At no time did I ever see my router "advertize" that crap. Just try to telnet in & see if its responsive.

Unfortunately there's no buttons on this device. Can I trigger failsafe in another way, for example by short circuit any of the serial pins?

No button? That's a problem.
http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.debrick
See the line under "Stupid things people do" - its: pin shorting.
The wiki says you can still enter failsafe mode under the "Triggering via keyboard key combination in a serial console" section.
