I currently have 1.51 on my WNDR3800. This is located in the house but what I'm wanting to do is extend my wireless coverage to the garage outside.
So, as a newbie to doing anything like this, is it possible and what way should I go. So I basically just want the WNDR3800 to do what it's doing now but the device I install in the shed act like a range extender type device.
Is this possible? If so, do I need to buy the same device or can I look at a TP-Link for example and will it need to be flashed with Gargoyle?
I did look at the Netgear plug in wireless extenders but not sure if these things will work alongside my Netgear router seeing that it has customer firmware installed.
Any advice/feedback would be appreciated as far as the easiest solution for extending my wireless signal.
A million thankyous in advance...

nb. This is the device I was looking at : http://netgear.com.au/home/products/wir ... P.aspx#two but I have found that the WPS (push n connect) doesn't seem to want to operate on my WNDR3800 since I put the Gargoyle FW on it, so not sure why??
