i want to know if the hardware V1.9 of tp-link tl-WR1043nd is supported by your firmware, because i'm afraid to brick the unit.
if it's not supported, please let me know.

You will have to follow the info and downgrade the bootloader
If you are afraid of bricking it - then don't even try to flash
Gargoyle / OpenWRT on that router - there is always a risk on
flashing any 3rd party firmware.

i succesfully flashed version 1.4.7 gargoyle on my unit today, but i have a wifi drops and slow speed on it, on the LAN everything OK, but wifi isn't.

my issue with wifi seems to be solved, i change the channel to 4 and set it to 20Mhz instead of 40Mhz, it seems more stable till now.
