Revert to stock firmware Netgear 3800

Could someone tell me in simple steps how to revert back to stock? It says i need a .bin file but the only file on the netgear website is an .img file which doesn't work if I try to "upgrade" it back to stock.

This is how I did it on my wndr3700..

Hold reset for 30+ seconds under power LED flashes green.

Open command prompt.

tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put WNDR3700-V1.0.78.9.img

Substitute the name of the image file with the one u have. Make sure u issue the tftp command while in the same directory as the image file in the prompt.
