Newbee need help with 192.168.1.1

Post by Monsieurpaquin »

Need help !

Just received my TP-Link WR1043ND v1.10 with Gargole pre-installed.
The gargoyle router is connected with an ethernet cable to my modem. Modem connected to the computer. I can not access IP 192.168.1.1 ? I am missing something ? Do I need to dowload something to access IP 192.168.1.1 ?

Thanks,

Mike

Your computer should be connect to one of the LAN ports on the router not to the modem. The router's WAN port should be connected to the LAN port on the modem.
