Huawei HG556 - which image?

Post by robot5x »

Hi there -
sorry in advance for stupid question...
Excited about trying out Gargoyle on my Huawei HG556a - this is supported at OpenWRT according to http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/huawei/hg556a/

SoC is Broadcom 6358 but I can't find which image I should use from the download page, for this device. Closest I can see is
gargoyle_1.4.7-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx

is that the right one??

thanks a lot!

There is no gargoyle image for your router. Only brcm47xx currently have pre-built images.

I looked in http://downloads.openwrt.org/attitude_a ... x/generic/

for 6358 or 556. "fully supported" it does not appear to be.

I did find OpenWrt images in the Barrier Breaker trunk. Gargoyle is presently only Attitude Adjustment.
