Hi Guys
Having some trouble trying to get the dual band thing going on here
I have a Netgear WNDR3700v2 as the subject suggests.
I have tried going from 20mhz to 40mhz I have tried turning the N off and having just N+G+B etc
What I am trying to do is extend my range from channel 1 to 5 a bit like the picture here that I have from my local surroundings using inSSIDer - There is a network called OPTUSDNEB410E - I want to be able to have a range over a wider area (attached picture of inSSIDer)
I am 'thesmurfs.g and thesmurfs.n' respectively
Although I never use n at all, I wonder if I should turn it off altogether to get a better throughput for the G channel?
How do I do fix this using Gargoyle? I have firmware release 1.5.9 the latest one
I am wondering what is the best way for me right now to maneuver my wireless around everybody else so that I have a better connection with less interference, it seems I am tight here for space on the channels.
Screenshot of my wireless settings in gargoyle is also attached
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks and kind regards
VB

Re: WNDR3700v2 Wireless Dual Band
Anyone?
I got a feeling it's the router itself...
