I have a TP-Link TL-WR841ND v5 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/11/13) std. When I try to load Gargoyle via the Firmware Upgrade page, it goes through the motions but the DD-WRT interface returns. I've tried a few versions, reset, don't reset, and so on. Always DD-WRT returns.
I've installed DD-WRT successfully on a device running Gargoyle, but it seems it does not work the other way around and I'm stuck with DD-WRT.
Any tips?

You may have to TFTP flash the Gargoyle firmware.
If you have to TFTP - use the factory binary

Damn. I suspected this may be the only way when I spotted that page the other day, ordered one of those USB Serial TTL converters, just in case.
Thanks!
