TP-Link WR1034ND

Post by Maverick45a »

Is there anyway to backup the current firmware BEFORE I load Gargoyle?

or

If I'm able to find the existing firmware as a download from the internet, am I able to use it to back out of a Gargoyle load?

Thanks

Thank you - I downloaded that firmware from the get go. (the firmware that came with the router is a newer version, but at this point I don't really care as long as I can get the router working again).

I've bricked my router - waiting for the delivery of a serial cable so I can attempt a de-brick (apparently V1.5.6 and WR1043nd V1.1 do not play nicely together).

Am I able to use the firmware above during the debricking attempt?

Thanks for any help you can supply - it's greatly appreciated (yeah I'm a newbie ;) )
