setting up openvpn server fails

Hi. running gargoyle 1.5.8 on a tp-link 1043nd. I've tried to set up this openvpn server, but when I add the client and click save changes, I get the message about taking 5-10 minutes to generate the crypographic info. I leave the page and So I click Ok and leave the browser for a bit. Then it says that I can click the download button for the client zip file. Well, there's no download button and the client box has reverted back to the "client1" name. Update: A download button did appear, but no file save dialog materialized and the client1 box came back again. So it's a loop. What do I do?
