newbie and tp link wr1043nd

Hi all, forgive me, I'm new and would like a little hand holding to get me through my first flash so I don't end up doing something irreversible.

I purchased a new TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v1.1 and plan to flash it as per the instructions below, except I am guessing the files suggested in the article are out of date.

I plan to use gargoyle_1.4.7-ar71xx-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin would this be the version to use? I am after stability and the feature that I mostly need at this point in time is Quota management.

Yay or nay will suffice.
