I just flashed my TP Link TL-WR842ND v1 with Gargoyle.
Because Gargoyle didn't support 3G yet for this router,
I wanted to revert back to the stock (original TP-Link) firmware.
However I cannot find a "revert-to-stock" firware.
I have been looking for hours on Google, DD-WRT and the Gargoye forum, and tried the following things:
1. use the webrevert for the W842ND from DD-WRT
2. tried upgrading to DD-WRT, so I can revert from DD-WRT
Both didn't work.
Can anyone please help me?
TIA, Jem.

Re: TL-WR842ND v1 revert to stockfirmware?
Update:
I somehow figured it out after some hours of googling and matching the pieces together.
Download the WE842ND firmware from http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/downl ... n=V1#tbl_j
Unzip the file to get the *.bin and just log into the Gargoyle Web-interface.
Go to System, Update Firmware, browse to the TP-Link firmware
and select the bin-file.
Click on [Upgrade Now] to start the firmware upgrade.
Wait several minutes (>3). The router will notify you in the browser that it is rebooting. Because the default Gargoyle network is: 192.168.1.0 and the default TP-Link WR842ND-network is: 192.168.0.0,
you won't get into the router directly after the reboot.
Please disable your computer's lan and enable it again to refresh your IP-address. After the new IP-address (192.168.0.x), you can access your router with: http://192.168.0.1.
