Router working but no wget possible

Post by SimonSt »

Hi,

I'm running 1.5.8 on a TP-Link TL-WR1043N. The router is connected by ethernet to an exisiting network and I'm using it as a WLAN AP to connect my clients wirelessly to the internet. This is working as it shold be, but what is not working is wget from the console.

If I try

wget http://www.google.com

I just get

Connecting to http://www.google.com (173.194.44.84:80)
wget: can't connect to remote host (173.194.44.84): No route to host

How can I fix it?

Thanks,

Simon

What are you trying to accomplish?

wget is meant to get a file via web http transfer

I think you are not understanding the commands.

What are you actually trying to do?
