Hi there, I'm new to OpenVPN although have been using this excellent firmware on my TPLINK TL-1043ND for some months.
I'd like to access one of my machines remotely from my Android device... it has the IP address 192.168.0.50
I have setup OpenVPN pretty much with all the standard settings. On the Android device I have OpenVPN installed and running (I have tried a few different versions). If I use "OpenVPN Settings" app both client .ovpn and .conf files appear to be establish a connection with ip 10.8.0.2... but there is very little data transfer... 0.04kbps for example.
If I use "OpenVPN Settings" app, there is more data activity... handshaking takes place but then I get the following message...
Tun interface setup failed: tun_builder_error: ifconfig addresses are not in the same /30 subnet (topology net30).
I'm not sure what this means.
If you have any suggestions then I'd appreciate if you can help... if you need more info then please let me know.
Thanks

Re: OpenVPN and Android Clients
I got the same error while using the OpenVPN on my Android ICS 4.0.4
But there is no problem while I am using my desktop to connect the OpenVPN (TL-WR1043ND with Gargoyle v1.58).
Any suggestion? Thanks.
