I had to try one more test with a different router.

Broadcom chipset - Buffalo WHR-G125 - running DD-WRT

Exact same tests as above, with 250MB file

HUGE difference in speed transfer rates / throughput

Only reason I am not running Gargoyle on this router is
because Gargoyle currently doesn't work on this router.

Edit:

I found out this router does support Tomato firmware

Flashed latest Tomato 1.25.1719 on the router and ran same test

Looks like Tomato is running the fastest so far.
