TL-WR1043ND OpenVPN Server v1.5.7?

Hey all,

I recently bought myself a TL-WR1043ND v1.8 and flashed it to gargoyle 1.5.7. Everythign appears to be fine and I tried to setup the OpenVPN server. However, when I copy the ovpn file with the certificates and keys to a client machine outside the network it does not connect to my OpenVPN server. Is there a problem with 1.5.7? If so, does 1.5.6 work?

I will get a collection of screenshots now. To reply to a few of your questions with more questions,

Do I need to port forward 1194 or does OpenVPN server do that automatically on the router when the service is on?

The goal is to allow any OpenVPN clients from the internet to gain access to the OpenVPN server hosted on the router. Once connected, they can access all hosts behind this router.
