Ah Im struggling.
Gargoyle has worked pretty good for a few months for me. I use most of the settings and the set up was a breeze. Im addicted to having it. Welcome to the life of a teenage father.
Im using a standard Linksys WRT54GL router and version 1.4.5 of Gargoyle.
Then last week something went really wrong. I couldnt connect.
WLAN doesnt want to start up. fair enough I thought Ill use the cable and see whats wrong. Nope cant do no connection with it either, when I Ping I obviously recieve no response...
Doesnt sound to promising to me. brick? Doesnt seem like it though, the router still works and I would say at least the firmware is working based on the lights and how it behaves.
Any idea how to get back in communication with gargoyle?

Re: Cant connect anymore
If you connect a computer with a ethernet cable to the lan port, does it pull an ip address from the dhcp server?
Here are the instructions for how to get into the failsafe mode on the router. Try using the cisco systems logo button on the front or the reset button on the back as your "configurable hardware button."

If you are able to telnet into the failsafe mode, try executing this command to reset every to defaults (and hopefully fix your problem):
/sbin/firstboot
