I should add that my Mac is still manually connected with IP address 192.168.1.101

and wouldn't it be enough to hold a 10s reset button?
Have you tested? and does it work?

It would be a real good feature if it works

I will try to attach a screen shot, but the ones I have tried so far were rejected as too big.
you need to remote host e.g. imgur

greenshot has this feature built in

I guess new software would help but I cannot connect to the internet so I cannot go get any...

The password will be your designated or default. The default password is: password

To review my current status:

My Mac network connection is manually connected as 192.168.1.101.
The router is 192.168.1.1
The status is connected with Ethernet currently active.

The Mac is connected by Ethernet to the Lan socket on the router. The satellite modem is connected to the router via the Wan socket.

The gargoyle status page is showing:

Version: 1.10.0
Wan IP address 67.54.228.71
Wan gateway up: 68.54.228.1
Wan dns server: 99.196.90.99

Wireless mode: access point
