Statistics/Bandwidth for Wireless interfaces

Post by vplessky »

There was discussion on Bandwidth Monitor/Statistics for LAN ports.

I'd like to raise here topic about Statistics/Bandwidth Monitor for wireless interfaces.

I have WDS connection, and therefor two interfaces - wlan0 and wlan0.sta1 - which are used for data transfers.
  • wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn Mode:Master Frequency:2.432 GHz Tx-Power=27 dBm
    RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
    Power Management:on

    wlan0.sta1 IEEE 802.11bgn Mode:Secondary Tx-Power=27 dBm
    RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
    Power Management:off
As wireless connections can be unreliable, and transfer speed may change depending on environment/noise around, it is really necessary to monitor those connections.

Can you please add such possibility to the next Gargoyle release?
