Hello all!
I'm fed up with consumer routers with their planned obsolescence, crappy firmware and terrible warranties. After looking around quite a bit, this router looks like a good low end firewall for some use cases. I could even offload some workload by turning off the DHCP server, wireless and using another router for that.
One spec I don't know yet is sustained and peak throughput. Has anyone measured this casually or better? I would like to know about what the high end limit is, but I suspect 20-30 Mbps cable internet service might be a practical limit.
Any experience, thoughts or observations? In my case I'm going with Mikrotik but I wouldn't recommend that brand for your typical residential-SMB user.
TIA, Mike
