Gargoyle's Bandwidth Usage table shows hostnames for a few of the devices in the building: a couple XP laptops, a couple iPhones. But the rest of the connected hosts, mainly XP/W7 machines, only show up as IP addresses. How can I make changes to the machines so Gargoyle can find their hostnames?
Under XP?
Under W7?
Under Ubuntu Linux?
And Android phones -- any ideas there?
hostnames?

Re: hostnames?
Thank you, Eric. Most of the machines already have static IPs, assigned at the machine level. And I edited /etc/hosts to give Gargoyle a hostname to display. So I'm pretty much all set up that way. But now my curiousity is piqued -- what can be done on an XP machine, a W7 machine, a Linux machine to let Gargoyle find their host names? As I mentioned, Gargoyle found the host names for a few of the devices (iOS, one W7 machine, etc.) but not the majority of them. And Android devices -- anything that can be set up there?
